OE on a Kenmore dishwasher means it is not draining. The manual lists it for dishwashers with model numbers beginning 722.146.

Drain checks in the manual’s order

1. Look at the sink drain or garbage disposal for a clog and clear it.
2. If the sink drains normally, pull the dishwasher drain hose off the sink or disposal connection and check its end for a grease clog.
3. If there is an air gap, check it and clear any clog.
4. Unplug the dishwasher and check the whole drain hose between the drain pump and the sink connection.
5. If the hose is clear, look for clogs in the sump and drain pump.
6. Check the wiring connections on the drain pump and reconnect loose wires.

After that a technician takes meter readings on the drain pump motor and on the wires going to the electronic control board. A pump that reads open is replaced; if the wires read correctly, the control board is the likely cause.
